So I might end up posting some semi-usless information, but I'm just trying to give make * * * src main o error 127 what ever details I can. The Issue: I'm trying to build a project, and I'm getting the following errors and warnings. The Question: What would I have to do, and or get, in order to start working with c++ in linux, within an IDE? Fixing the error would be great, but the above stated is my underlying goal. Just create a plain Executable project! (is is the second entry in the New Project Wizard). Report message to a moderator Re: Eclipse C++ error [message #894158 is a reply to message #893701] Sat, 07 July 2012 02:41 juno userMessages: 5Registered: July 2012 Junior Member I have this too. You're saying it comes from autotools ? I don't know what it is indeed, nor do I know if my project is a autotools project or not. In any case, what can we do from here to solve this issue ? I mean, without recreating the whole project, now that it's done, what can we do ? Thanks. Jason rvickersNovember 11th, 2006, 03:09 AMWhat do you mean by "package build-essential"? Thx qamelianNovember 11th, 2006, 03:19 AMWhat do you mean by "package build-essential"? Thx Unless you error 1 install the build-essential metapackage, you won't have g++ on your system. In a terminal windoe, do the following: sudo aptitude install build-essential. This will install the most common packages needed to compile programs from source code. rvickersNovember 11th, 2006, 03:27 AMOk, thanks... mkrahmehApril 20th, 2008, 08:07 PMthe
