Mysql Error 1005
> Platform Networking Question 0 Sign in to vote Hi, starting a couple of weeks ago, we get netflix error 1005 the following error(s) when running applications from a network share. We don't know what causes this, we are not aware of any major changes in our network infrastructure or error 1005 can't create table 'db' (errno 13) client/Server configuration. We did upgrade a lot of machines to Windows 8, but the issue also occurs on older Win7 computers. We figured out a workaround though: The applications run fine when launching from a FQDN share (like \\share.domain.Company.com) and only cause problems when running from \\sharedirectly. They have worked fine for years without FQDN though. Any ideas?

Monitor an unlimited number of servers with $49/year With the current low prices for servers and the need for processing power, even a small company may end up with quite a few of them. If ten years ago it was still common to see an entire company http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-1005-source-Application%20Error-eventno-6702-phase-1.htm using just one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/281981-published-network-application-errors-should-i-install-hotfixes/ process. Even with 5 minutes per server (to check the logs and other parameters), it may take an hour to make sure that everything is ok and no "red lights" are blinking on any of the servers. read more... error 1005 Event ID: 1005 Source: Application Error Source: Application Error Maintenance: Recommended maintenance tasks for desktop applications Type: Error Description:Windows cannot access the file

We have tree business critical applications that are network based. These applications are setup as follow: the application is installed to a network share from a workstation, then a desktop setup is performed on the Citrix servers, creating the shortcuts to the application folder on the network containing the executables. I am getting multiple applications failures similar to the event listed below. Server is HP Proliant G6 16GB of RAMXenApp 5 - No Hotfixes installed. I looked at the following HotFixes available for me, and listed them below. Should I install any of them?? If I should which one should I install first. Thank you all for your efforts in helping me fix this issue and I appreciate any input.Hotfix XAE500W2K8X64071 - For Citrix XenApp
