Mar26,2010,9:25AM Post #1 of 1 (2876 views) Permalink SOLUTION: Cannot connect to POP server ( connect error 10060 ) I just wanted to post the solution to what I http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/qmail/users/137364 was asking if others run into the same situation. I was not able to 'telnet localhost 110' after a brand new install of Qmail. I did as noted below: I slowly increased the softlimit on the qmail-pop3d/run https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1098845 file and now I am able to connect with 'telnet localhost 110' after reaching 7000000. I was still unable to connect via Outlook Express so I checked the cisco router config and it was missing the error 10060 pop3 line for NAT. I added it in and now all is good! Have a great day! Chosen solution Server settings look good. Is there a personal firewall or a proxy which might prevent Thunderbird from connecting to the server? Note, when logging in using OAuth2 the first time you're prompted for your Gmail password in a browser like window. This is your real Gmail password, not any application specific password. After that you're prompted to allow Thunderbird to access Gmail. Read this answer in context 0 Question tools Get email updates when anybody replies. when a solution is found.
