This is really strange. I've got a button symbol on stage with an instance name of aboutUs_btn. My code on my AS layer is: this.aboutUs_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE _DOWN, about); function about(evt:MouseEvent):void { this.wipe_mc.gotoAndPlay(2); this.gotoAndStop("history"); head.unload(); } And then I test the movie and http://board.flashkit.com/board/showthread.php?732321-Error-1010-what-is-undefined get this error and it makes no sense to me. TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties. at main1_fla::MainTimeline/about() What's weird is I tried this in another .fla and it didn't bring up the error. This discussion is locked David Lee Nelson Level 1 (5 points) Q: Error type 1010 My 400 Mhz slot-loading iMac has OS 9.2.1 and OS 10.3.9 installed. It is currently in OS 9. When I try to boot, I https://discussions.apple.com/thread/203221?start=0&tstart=0 receive the message "Code Fragment could not be prepared. 'PrefRestoreInit'Error type 1010. To temporarily turn off extensions etc." However, when my iMac is in OS 9.2, it will only boot from the hard disk, and ignores when I hold down the shift http://www.solvusoft.com/en/errors/runtime-errors/adobe-systems-inc/adobe-flash-player/1010-adobe-flash-player-error-1010/ key or the C key with a startup CD in the drive. When I down the Option key, icons for the hard drive and the CD appear on the screen, but it only accepts starting up from the hard disk. I error 1010 tried the four key - command - option - p -r technique, but it did not help.Any other suggestions?David Nelson Posted on Sep 20, 2005 10:26 AM I have this question too Close Q: Error type 1010 All replies Helpful answers by Nick Holmes, Nick Holmes Sep 17, 2005 2:46 PM in response to David Lee Nelson Level 7 (30,006 points) Apple Music Sep 17, 2005 2:46 PM in response to David Lee Nelson This alert box may appear if the FileSharingLib extension is error 1010 (hy000) not in the Extensions folder. This issue is resolved by updating to Mac OS 9.2.2. See Apple Software Downloads http://www.apple.com/swupdates/ If you cannot update immediately, follow these steps:1. As Classic or Mac OS 9 starts up, press and hold the Shift key to disable extensions.2. Locate the FileSharingLib extension. If it is not in the "Extensions (Disabled)" folder of the System Folder, then try locating it with the Mac OS X version of Sherlock (if applicable). Use Mac OS X Finder in Mac OSX 10.2 and higher.Alternative solution: If you cannot locate this extension, an alternative solution is to find the file "PrefRestoreInit", which should be in the Extensions folder inside the System Folder. 3. Drag FileSharingLib into the Extensions folder, which is in the Mac OS 9 System Folder. Alternative solution: If you could not find FileSharingLib in the last step, then remove PrefRestoreInit from the Extensions folder. 4. Restart the computer or Classic, allowing extensions to load normally. From: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106842 Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by David Lee Nelson, David Lee Nelson Sep 17, 2005 3:26 PM in response to Nick Holmes Level 1 (5 points) Sep 17, 2005 3:26 PM in response to Nick Holmes The problem is that, when I hold down the shift key, the extensions do not turn off, and the message still appears.David Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by Nick Holmes, Nick Holmes Sep 17, 2005 3:49 PM in response to David Lee Nelson Level 7
