Subscribe Unsubscribe Cant fully restore Error 1013 I have a iPhone 3gs and every time i try to restore with the latest version of itunes it will go all the way to the end of the restore and say error 1013. i have not messed with the host file or anything. But, anyway it would not hurt to just check your Computer Hosts file to make sure gs.apple.com is not in your Hosts file. Search on your computer for 'Hosts', open with a word processor, make sure gs.apple.com is not there. A recommended way to fix Error 1013 is to try restoring on another computer. Make sure you have a good USB cable, and use a dedicated USB port (one on the back of computer). Turn off securitiy, anti-virus software. Was this answer helpful?
