Error 102 This Application Is Already Precompiled
Team Foundation Server > Team Foundation Server - Build and release management Question 0 Sign in to vote I am getting the error "This application is already precompiled" on the compile step of my project. I have not made any changes to the compile process. I've successfully built many projects the same way (as far as I know). I don't know what's causing this error. Thoughts appreciated.Build Log output: Target http://localhost/ATRRSChkbx/: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_compiler.exe -v /ATRRSChkbx -p ..\ATRRSChkbx\ -u -f -d D:\Build\dev23p7\ATRRSChkbx\ATRRSChkbx-BT01\Binaries\.Net\Debug\_PublishedWebsites\ATRRSChkbx\ ASPNETCOMPILER : error ASPRUNTIME: This application is already precompiled. My developers didn't tell me this was a different type of application. Specifically it is a COTS product SDK that has some development and distribution limitations built in. These included the PrecompiledApp.config file being in the web application source code. It causes the error. In your Gemfile: group :assets do gem 'sass-rails', git: 'https://github.com/rails/sass-rails.git', branch: '3-2-stable' Thanks for the report & reproduction! calvincorreli commented Dec 23, 2011 Thanks, Jeremy, that does fix the problem in my test app. I have yet to confirm that it fixes it in my real app, but thanks so far. //Lars Ruby on Rails member jeremy commented Dec 23, 2011 Ok, this was triggered by rails/sass-rails@0b43583 then. Not sure about the root cause yet. calvincorreli commented Dec 23, 2011 Okay, that fixed that problem. Yay! Now I'm getting a new one in my actual project. Here's the error: rake aborted!
