| Report Content as Inappropriate ♦ ♦ App Store Update error in Mountain Lion I am not succeeding in updating via the App Store in Mountain Lion (10.8.2). Various issues with the App store have been reported in discussion groups and the nearest to mine suggests deleting the plist at ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.applestore.plist. But this has not solved the problem. I get three error messages in a sequence when I accept the automatic invitation to update. I click "OK" for the first and the next appears and so on. They are An error has occurred The operation could not be completed (INSURLErrorDomain error -3001.)(102) These apps can not be accepted on this computer Future updates of these apps can be found through Software Update We could not complete your request There was an error in the App Store Please try again later (18) I have tried again over time. The updates are for Safari 6.0.2, iPhoto 9.4.2 and iMovie 9.0.8. (Certainly not apps which "can not be accepted on this computer".) Clicking on "Software Update" as expected sends me back to the App Store and this routine. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. -- Keith Crook ____________TidBITS Talk Participation Guidelines____________ Post only when you have something substantive to contribute.
