Hi all, I am facing a frustrating error in http://microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage.narkive.com/2SBlaPr2/error-1025-in-entourage-x Entourage. I checked the Entourage webpages for the following error; Unrecognized internal error: 0x50b Error 1025 and no luck at all. I follow the recommendations and the error persists. I tried the IT department and they are error 1025 as clueless as me! Has anyone ever encountered this error before? I deleted my IMAP account and created a new one, but error still persists each time it searches for new mail. I realise there are other email clients available such as Mail, etc but they aren't an option right now so although entourage may not be the most popular client, its what I have been using for 5 years. And I am used to entourage error 1025 it, but would rather not get too attached with the bloody error! any help would be appreciated cheers Sam Reply With Quote 18th September 2007,09:14 PM #2 AppleSammy Join Date Apr 2006 Location Melbourne Posts 178 Follow up from earlier tonite. Resolved it by creating an EXCHANGE account and deleting the IMAP account. No more crazy error!! which is great but still doesn't tell me why it was playing up to begin with. It's possible your folder is full. Do youunderstand the difference between IMAP and POP? IMAP works by keeping mailon the server. POP works by downloading your mail to your computer. MostISP¹s set an upper limit on the amount of mail storage you can use. Youclosely monitor the space being used. Have you emptied your trash folderlately? You might consider converting your account to a POP account since you are ondial up. It will be faster than using IMAP on dial up.
