It (Information Store) is also responsible for buffer & space management. Fix Exchange Serve Error 1053 This Information Store uses storage engine known as ‘Extensible Storage Engine’. ESE is basically a database service to access its data. Its main purpose is to give permission to applications to store & retrieve data. To start this Information Service, users can run ‘services.msc’ cmdlet & can select this service. But in some conditions information stores gets damaged. There are various reasons behind that like dirty shutdown, virus attack, the transaction log file corruption etc. This time user gets an error message that ‘couldn’t start the Information Store Service’ as shown in the figure below. Start up Error 1053 In this type of error, the saved data become inaccessible & also it create trouble in managing databases. There are also various groups in which error 1053 occurs due to improper synchronization between them. They are as: Exchange Server Information Store System Attendant Service In actual, Exchange Server & Information Store depends on the System Attendant Service. So when this Service starts, it finds for the group in the container of default users given below: Exchange Enterprises Services Exchange Services Exchange Domino Server When unable to find these groups, the error 1053 encountered.
