Join Now Hi Guy's In my new job I have a mail server out in the USA being used by our US Office guys that is running Exchange 2003 SP2. They apparently have had problems with this server in the past in sending and receiving email. However the server appears to be running fine (external email sent too and from both my Hotmail and gmail accounts works fine). I was always told that the MTA Stacks service was a very important part of Exchange 2003 however the server appears to be running fine without it. What are the consequences of running the server without this service? (or should the server be running at all?) I have checked the event logs and both the Application and System logs do not show any errors relating to the exchange service. Advice please. Lloyd...
