(Not enough storage is available to complete this operation. ) Any idea https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/937535 what's the issue? I read somewhere its related to handle.... Friday, December 07, 2012 4:08 AM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Well I've actually done this but i did not see any significant clues... do i search for any apps that's using port higher than 5000? Based https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/389751a0-0dff-4eeb-83c2-631fd2c06a36/1053-userenv-windows-cannot-determine-the-user-or-computer-name?forum=winservergen from the log that i gathered, total connection is only around 50....... With the help of netstat -aon &netstat -anobcommands, you can get info of ports along with PIDs (Process IDs).I don't understand why you did not get any clue. Anyways I suggest you use below tool to know more about ports and corresponding services. Download portqryUI tool from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24009 and run it in your machine.Open Explorer, browse for the folderPortQryUI and click and open portqueryui.exe (GUI tool) one pop-up windows will appear and choose the ports which you want to query as shown in below snap-shot.This tool gives you service name along with corresponding port.with the help of service you come to know what application it represents. Note: Inside theDirectory of PortQryUI you can seePortQry.exe (command line tool) &portqueryui.exe (GUI tool) either one you can use for test purpose.Regards, Ravikumar P Marked as answer by Boo_MonstersIncMi

Solved Event 1053 Userenv error Posted on 2012-09-13 Active Directory Windows Server 2003 Windows Networking 3 Verified Solutions 4 Comments 2,895 Views Last Modified: 2012-09-17 Hello - we have a server that was recently DCPROMO demoted from a DC, down to a member server, and has successfully been reconnected and rejoined to the same domain on our network. We have several applications on the machine that are working, except for one application that runs unattended jobs in Windows 2003 Server, that appears to have trouble now. I don't see any errors related to the application jobs, however, but am having to run these job tasks manually to get them done. The main error I see is this one below: Event Id 1053 Userenv User=NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted. I don't know if this is the cause of the jobs not running correctly, but it definitely is a new error. 0 Question by:Damian_Gardner Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 38 Best Solution byChiefIT You are going to have to control your Windows Firewall to allow for Domain Operations.
