Jun 17, 2008 10:09 AM|vuyiswamb|LINK Good Afternoon All I have IIS 5 and i have hosted an ASP Classic Application on it. sometimes the Application Crashes, and when something like that happends i go and restart the IIS , now i have a Problem the IIS does not want to Start it Gives me this Error Error 1053 : "the service did not respond to start or control request

in timely fashion i have Tried to Google it, and i have found no Answer. This may give us some more clues. When i upload precompiled file to IIS and run command iisreset then it's stop working and my application is giving me an error like "Internet cannot display web page." Now, if i do stop it and restart then its giving above error (quoted text) and showing me cross red mark (X) on websites folder. One solution i got is to restart the server.. but dont want to do it everytime
