can run MySQL or install the MySQL service, otherwise you'll get Error 1067. First let's open up the command prompt. Navigate to your MySQL install folder and find wherever mysqld.exe is. mysql error 1067 invalid default value datetime Then run this: mysqld -remove MySql That will uninstall the MySQL service. This is why people hate open source software. You have a nice installer for MySQL, but it NEVER, EVER, installs correctly at once. My PC is Windows 7 x64, Enterprise edition. MySQL installs fine, but when I run the "MySQL Instance Configuration Wizard", it pauses forever on the step "Start Service" (I can let it run for 30 minutes with no response).
