The first few classes were all rather easy to port, but now I'm running into an error porting screens. The error is being displayed to be inside feathers, but I assume it must be on my side... somewhere. However, the error message is not a big help to me 1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type starling.display:DisplayObject to an unrelated type starling.display:DisplayObject. Clean your project and/or restart your IDE, that usually helps for completely bonkers errors like that. A restart didn't help, so which steps do you mean with "cleaning my project"? Oh yes, and I had to copy the source files for feathers into my project folder, because Flash Builder wouldn't find any classes of the .swc when I only imported the .swc. The Starling-.swc doesn't have this problem. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 Posted 2 years ago # Al_Birdie Wise OwlJoined: Dec '12Posts: 1,052 Al_Birdie Wise OwlJoined: Dec '12Posts: 1,052 In order to clean your project, click "Project -> Clean..." in Flash Builder. However, a restart of Flash Builder usually builds the project already, so a clean shouldn't be necessary after a restart. It doesn't hurt though. Using the feathers source code shouldn't be the problem in case you've made a proper library project for it and added the Starling framework to the project's build path. Given the error you're getting, that is most likely the issue. That error probably means that you have multiple SWCs with a compiled version of starling.display.DisplayObject. In this case, the compiler decides that the classes are different, even if they have the same name and were compi

I'm using SDK 4.5.1. The errors are for the following code in Main.as lines 58-61. Code: error 1067 flash Select all mapsLoadManager = new MapsLoadingManager(this, openSpace);
avatarManager = new AvatarManager(this, openSpace)
mapEditManager = new MapEditingManager(this, openSpace)
mapInteractManager = new MapInteractionManager(this, openSpace, mapsLoadManager)
I'm also getting the error: unable to open '/Users/JimDaniel/Documents/Adobe Flash Builder 4.5/WildFrontiers/C:/Program Files/SmartFoxX2/Client/Flash/API/SFS2X_API_AS3.swc' I'm thinking these might be related. The system I'm on is a MacBook Pro so I don't understand why the Windows based path is being tacked on to the end of the Mac OS path. I've looked at all of the classPaths & libPaths and everything look correct. I'm using the latest version of OpenSource and it's 2X examples, I downloaded them fresh just to be sure. Any ideas?
