Mysql Service Error 1067
January 13, 2005 05:41AM Hello All, I'm fairly new to MySQL and have encountered an mysql system error 1067 installation problem. I am trying to install the windows service. Running mysqld --install seems to work OK and the service appears in wamp mysql error 1067 the Services index as MySQL set to automatic. However, when I try and start the service I get the following error: Could not start the MySQL service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The program terminated unexpectedly. MySQL http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23430668/error-1067-the-process-terminated-unexpectedly-when-trying-to-start-mysql is installed at C:\Program Files\MySQL\mysql\ The service has the correct path to the executable & the registry seems to be correct. Any help would be very much appreciated - many thanks. can run MySQL or install the MySQL service, otherwise you'll get Error 1067. First let's open up the command prompt. Navigate to your http://mydailytech.com/how-to-fix-mysql-error-1067/ MySQL install folder and find wherever mysqld.exe is. Then run this: mysqld -remove http://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/44485/i-cant-get-mysql56-service-to-start-after-i-stopped-it MySql That will uninstall the MySQL service. Now reinstall the service with the defaults-file parameter: mysqld -install

I am running MySQL on Windows Server 2008 R2. The Log file was full. I had open the my.ini file and increase the innodb_log_file_size variable. Thanks share|improve this answer answered Jun 13 '13 at 17:18 Mike 241236 Yes, the default log file size is now 50MB instead of the old 5MB. If you were running with a log file size of 5MB, this was probably a bad bottleneck for you! –Bill Karwin Jun 13 '13 at 17:23 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote I had the same issue the other day. Try this, it should work! Right
