System Error 1067 has ocurred. The process was terminated unexpectedly. These errors mean that your option file (by default `C:\my.cnf') contains an option that cannot be recognized by MySQL. You can verify that this is the case by trying to restart MySQL with the option file renamed to prevent the server from using it. (For example, rename `C:\my.cnf' to `C:\my_cnf.old'.) Once you have verified it, you need to identify which option is the culprit. Create a new `my.cnf' file and move parts of the old file to it (restarting the server after you move each part) until you determine which option causes server startup to fail. 0 LVL 32 Overall: Level 32 MySQL Server 9 Message Expert Comment by
a comment Recently, we faced an issue with listener service on Windows Server. We were trying to start listener service https://shrikantrao.wordpress.com/2012/03/23/error-1067-the-process-terminated-unexpectedly-with-listener/ but received error 1067. Tried all kind of RnD; drop and https://scn.sap.com/thread/2142011 recreate listener, permission nothing worked. Then went deep into oracle_home, came to know there were two oracle_home on the same server. Checked Path in Environment Variable, it was pointing to right oracle_home. But interestingly the environment variable of oracle_home was pointing to wrong location. Which is why error 1067 we encountered this error. The oracle_home location in Environment variable was then changed to the correct/required location and tried starting the listener service. The listener service was up and able to connect remotely.
