I know this sounds really obvious so please don't be offended, but when did you last check the partition free space? Backup exec generates log files that could be filling up your partitions. So could antivirus updates etc. Event logs would be very useful if it's not the obvious. 0 LVL 4 Overall: Level 4 Message Author Comment by:thetool2004-08-04 Disk space is
Manager Primary Software Version: 3.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Problem: When http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/96A6A02DA3BEC8D286256B2000715EE9 I run the NI License Manager on Windows NT/2000/XP, I receive the following message at startup: "one or more services have failed to start." When I view http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/60398-45-computer-browser-start-services-console the services log, I find a 1068 dependency service error. Also, my NI Device Loader isn't started and when I try to start it manually I error 1068 also get Error 1068. How do I resolve this error? Solution: This error occurs if there are dependencies for the service that aren't started. For example, the NI License Server depends on the Workstation Service. If Workstation Service is not running on the computer, then NI License Server will not start. To install error 1068 the the Workstation Service, disable your network card and re-enable it. The NI Device Loader depends on the National Instruments mDNS Responder Service. First, follow the steps inKnowledgeBase4BHID6DE to see if NI Device Loader can start manually. If not, check to see if National Instruments mDNS Responder Service is started. If it is not, try to start it manually. If that does not work, please call NI Support (866-275-6964) and reference this article.
