Also, you may want to give a try by running SFC /SCANNOW in administrative Command Prompt and see if it helps. If, for some reason, there is an issue with the Remote Agent installation, the Job Engine service cannot start. Solution The Remote Agent for Windows Servers must be installed on the media server.
