Ever since, I have experienced a bunch of random deep freezes occurring at any time between boot and 15 error 1075 service marked for deletion minutes thereafter. Removed the EA via system restore, and the systems runs perfectly. Reinstalled the EA, and everything freezes again... I wonder what ICS means? Internet Connection Sharing? :-/Also, I went to check the Event viewer, and I see there is an error message after the instalation of EndPoint. It says:"The Check Point Endpoint Connect service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly."This is event 7030. I wonder if it is related (because the service is installed and I can run it)Any help is appreciated! Luis Domingues Posts: 2 Registered:

Sign in to vote Windows 7 Pro laptop will not connect to corporate domain. Multiple identical twin laptops have no problem. Best suggestion so far has https://forums.checkpoint.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=32374 been to leave the domain and rejoin it, BUT the relevant buttons are grayed out and the comment says "Note: The identification of the computer cannot be changed because:- The Workstation service is not running. Open the Services snap-in (services.msc) to ensure it is running and set its Startup Type as "Automatic"." https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/debd927a-34fd-4314-9abb-c44fcc7e2024/error-1075-the-dependency-service-does-not-exist-or-has-been-marked-for-deletion?forum=w7itpronetworking In services.msc the Workstation service is already set to Automatic but is not started. When I try to start it manually the response is "Windows could not start the Workstation service on Local Computer." and then "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion." Rebooting gets me nowhere. In all other respects that laptop appears fine and can connect to the Internet, but NOT to the network. I have brought it and a twin laptop home to try on my domestic network and get the same results. Any ideas, please? I cannot wait any longer and hence I have taken an image from the working twin laptop and put that onto the problem machine. I then changed the Windows li

I am using a Dell E6510 laptop computer running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit OS. I can get this VPN to run and connect when I use Microsoft's XP virtual machine sitting on the Windows 7 desktop but I cannot get it to run on the Windows 7 desktop by itself. Although the VPN seems to load without incident the ***ociated icon "key" does not appear in the notification tray at the lower right. It does appear in the XP virtual machine and on a separate HP desk top running Vista. When I type services.msc at the Win 7 command prompt I get a list of all the loaded services including the CheckPoint VPN. It is at this point when I try to start the VPN I get the 1075 error. When I check the dependencies under the VPN I find the "CheckPoint Office Mode Module" and the "VPN-1 Module". How do I determine if these dependencies are causing the 1075 error message? What steps do I need to take to resolve the error message so the VPN will start?
