Thread originally posted on 11 January 2012]Recently, users are intermittently getting this error when working with Commercial Policies. It seems to happen when processing endorsements, applying payments, removing terrorism notices or approving policies (no clear pattern, in other words). It throws them out of the app, however when they reenter it again, they are able to process without the any issues. It is an 'Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory', but I can't find the manual referenced in your knowledge base (Handling Protection Violation Errors in the 'Program Development Manual' Chapter 5) on this website to try and find out why, suddenly, this is occurring. I have gotten it to occur in animate and a mfdebug.log is produced, but I'm not sure how I can use this for debugging purposes. (Maybe it has evolved.. my last contact was 30 years ago. I surely did not like it then!) There may be ways to work around whatever error that is ("error 114, signal 11") such as reformatting or reconfiguring data, but the information deficiency of http://www.computing.net/answers/programming/cobol-error-114-signal-11/29657.html your post leaves any creative solutions sitting on the fence. You should contact them and make use of this support.(The error is a fairly generic "the program tried to access memory it wasn't authorized to". Only the software developer can know what part of the program is at fault.)message edited by ijack Report • #3 vis June 11, 2014 at 05:23:14 It says " Execution error: file'olectist' error code;114, pc=0,call=1,seg-0 114 Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory (signal 11)Contacted Syspro. According to them custom pane is the cause for the error. Same custom pane works without any issues on XP computers and only on window 7, we are getting this error. I have been using their support, but no solution other than remove the panes completely. message edited by vis Report • Start a discussion Related Solutions› windows 7 to list last generated file if there is any error › [Solved] vbs script not starting from bacth file › XML error - terminated by the matching end-tag › compile error: Expected: line number or label or statement o › [Solved] I am getting script error unexpected at this time &rsaq
