Solved Dreamweaver CS4 - MySQL connection errors Posted on 2012-04-03 Adobe Dreamweaver 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 1,138 Views Last Modified: 2012-04-09 I've been working with DWCS4 and dynamic sites for ages and with no real issues however I'm now getting the following error when trying to set up new dynamic pages using data from a proven database: "Dreamweaver could not connect to your server. It's possible you may have set to work offline in the browser client (eg IE)" All pages previously created within DW and containing recordsets seem to work fine; the bindings panels on each page displays the recordset and the data rows within each RS, the pages display as expected (on a variety of testing browsers - Firefox, Safari, IE) yet when trying to access / open tables under the databases tab and the preconfigured connection, the tables list shows "none". I can't even set up a new connection (even tried in a new, temporary site). Any ideas before I resort to re-installation of the entire application?? Thanks, in advance, for any thoughts / assistance. Levine It sounds more like IIS received a patch and that's screwing up whatever DW is trying to do. One test is to download the free trial for CS 5.5 and see if that will connect properly. The "Live View" option in DW seems also to have been affected as it doesn't work with .php files (
