The issues almost certainly is the firewall or similar feature in that security program but what exactly to change to fix it I can not say. Resolving the problem The stated error: ORA-12169: TNS: Net service name given as connect identifier is too long. suggests that the cause is that the service name specified for connection to Oracle is too long. error 12169 However, the service name size limit is 255 characters and it is unlikely the service name used in job is actually that large. The more common cause of ORA-12169 is that the tnsnames.ora file contains either syntax error or corruption, especially if the problem only occurs with a specific service name, or if the problem began error 12169 connecting after updating the tnsnames.ora file. For Unix/Linux systems, this error can occur if the tnsnames.ora file is updated by a Windows text editor and then uploaded to Unix/Linux server. The usage of CRLF rather than just LF for end of line characters will cause this problem.
