If this concerns a legal copy of Doom 3, have it exchanged for another copy to see if perhaps the copy is just flawed. « Last Edit: September 12, 2004, 10:38:33 PM by Raptor » Logged Someone2die Guest Re: error 1305 with doom3 « Reply #2 on: October 05, 2004, 07:52:37 PM » also, before you try to reinstall clean the discs (yes, all 3) Logged Print Pages: Go Up « previous next » Computer Hope » Software » Computer games » error 1305 with doom3 Old Forum Search | Forum Rules Copyright © 2013 Computer Hope All rights reserved. When you put in the first disc it takes longer than usually to install but it goes through. while the error 1305 bar fills it will still say "C:\Program Files\Doom 3\ base\pak002.pk4" then after a while an error message will say "Error 1305. Error reading from file D:\setup\Data\base\pak002.pk4. Verify that the file exists and that you can acess it. Retry or Cancel" I checked the disc in my computer and saw it in base in the setup folder. Tonight has been the very first that this has happen. What can doom 3 error I do to make sure I ca get a proper intallation? If it's damaged you need to contact the publisher of the game and ask for a replacement. __________________ Please read the FileForums BOARD RULES and FAQs. I dont think it is because there is little or no scrathes on the disc and I only had it for two months.
