I once had a similar thing happen to me. It turned out to be a RAM problem. A long shot but if you have more than one stick of RAM, take one out at a time just to make sure it ain't that. I spent days messing & trying to install until I found the problem.Is it a hardcopy (disc) you've got or a download?
