Error 1305 Error Reading From File Windows 8
Messages: 3,225 Likes Received: 0 I recall getting that error, except it wouldn't install at all since I had no drives assigned the letter "C:." The solution was to make a phantom drive and assign it to that. I don't know if that's your problem, though. It could be a bad press - if nothing else, the store should exchange it. #2 viivo, Aug 15, 2004 (You must log in or sign up to error 1305 mysql post here.) Show Ignored Content Loading... YOUR HAIR IS GOOD TO EAT Far Cry installation problem(anyone have the game?) Hey all! I got a copy of Far Cry when I bought my 6800 a longgg time ago and never got around to installing it. I was bored this morning and decided to install it. Well.... Toward the end of Disc 3 it says that the file level.pak is corrupt. WTF compleletly fresh out of the shirnkwrapped and taped sealed paper sleeves and the disc has not a scratch on it. The weird thing is it's saying it's coming from the C drive? Error 1305 Error reading from file C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Cry Tek\Far Cry\Levels\Training\Level.pak Verify the file exists and that you can access it. Retry/cancel are my options. Frusuturating. I was wondering if someoen could send me this file. Reply With Quote 12-04-06,08:59 AM #2 liftedcj7on44s View Profile View Forum Posts Me

As i was installing it to disc 3, an error message saying error 1305: reading from file c:\program files\ubisoft\farcry\fcdata\objects.pak. verify the file exists and you can verify it. I called ubi about it and they said that it was my dvd writer and cd-writer drive. They said the only way to play the game is to use an ordinary cd-rom drive. What the hell is that advice? I just wanted to know if this pathetic advice is true. omniviper View Public Profile Find all posts by omniviper (#2) Finchwizard Don Apple Videocard: - Processor: - Mainboard: - Memory: - Soundcard: - PSU: - 07-13-2004, 03:39 | posts: 16,445 | Location: Locked in Guru3D Server Room. Help! Does it work if you use a different Optical drive? Tried taking the disc out, give it a bit of a clean etc...? So put disc one in and once it's done verifying put disc three back in you'll have to do this with disc 4 and 5 and 6 or how much ever disc far Cry has. Or you can leave disc one in and if you have second CD/DVD rom install the other disc(s) in that.
