Advertisement Maelstorm Thread Starter Joined: Aug 13, 2005 Messages: 1 Hi, I'm new here, and you're probably the 5th forum I've tried for help. I'm sure that someone here will be able to help me, so here's my problem (If you don't mind, I'm just gonna copy and paste it here) FFXI is frustrating me with this. I get to 100% on the install, and then it gives me an error that reads:"Error 1305. Could not verify C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\FFXiMain.dll. Please verify that the file exists and that you can access it." So I go through that path, and lo-and-behold, it's there! I clicked retry, but it still gave me that error, what should I do? But around 22% on Disc 1 I get an "Error 1305. Error reading from file" message. I seem to remember that when I first installed the game I had this same problem. I also remember being directed to an ftp site where I could download uncorrupted versions of the discs.
