I am trying to install Office 2013 to a Win 7 machine, 32 bit. I've asked for help in the Microsoft forums, but no luck so far. I am trying to install Office from a flashdrive, and was successful with 19 machines our of 21. The last two machines are killing me! The machines have been wiped clean of any Office files. I copy the office installation file to the machine desktop, open the folder and locate the executable file to start the installation. It appears that the installation is going smoothly for awhile, then I get the following error message: Error 1305, Setup cannot read file C:\Windows\assembly\GAC\Microsoft.mshtml\7.03300.0_b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.mshtml.dll. Check your network connection or, if you are installing from CD-ROM, be sure that the Professional Plus 2013 CD-ROM is in the drive. Click Retry to continue or Cancel to stop the installation. Microsoft recommended installing the files to a drive, an

CD-ROM configuration on the system is incorrect. Microsoft Data Access error 1305 Components (MDAC) installation on your PC is either damaged or outdated. Resolution Methods Use the following methods in the sequence given to resolve the problem. After performing the steps in each method, check to see if the error is resolved. If yes, then stop, otherwise, proceed to the next step. Method 1: Check your CD/DVD The error might occur if the setup CD or DVD is dirty. Use setup cannot read a CD/DVD cleaning kit or a lint-free cotton cloth to clean the media side of the disk from the center of the disk to outside. Do not use a cotton cloth as that might damage the disk. Also, ensure that your CD or DVD is not scratched because scratches may make media on the disk unreadable. Also, ensure that you are inserting a DVD in a DVD drive only and not a CD-Drive. Method 2: Use another drive to test your CD/DVD To ensure the CD/DVD drive on your computer is working fine, check your CD/DVD on another drive. If the disk works fine on the other drive, then the drive on your PC might be malfunctioning. You may also try to use a disk cleaning solution to clean the drive to see if that helps in fixing the error. If cleaning does not help, you may have to get your CD-drive repaired or replaced to resolve the error. Method 3: Close any unnecessary programs running on the system. Security programs such as antivirus, antispyware and firewall may interfere during the CD/DVD read operation. This is why you should close these programs before starting the installation process. I keep getting this "Error 1305. Error reading from file: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ARIALUNI.TTF. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." It is there and I can access it. I have made sure it is not read only. I have checked out my CD on another machine and it works fine there, but not on this machine. Any ideas??
