I was trying to modify my existing 11.2 version because http://www.infragistics.com/community/forums/t/82813.aspx a team-mate realized we had different DLL versions based on the same install. I can do https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1074702 anything. I even tried installing the latest version of the tools but I get the same message. If I try to uninstall via the Windows control panel I get the same message. I am in a corporate environment and my "My Documents" folder is mapped to a network drive. Any advice? I did not have read permissions to the folder just below "My Documents". I think the networking team here had made some sort of a change recently. Once these permissions were changed it started working correctly. Thanks for your help! Also can you attach the log file of the installer itself? This will allow us to see what the actual reason for such behavior may be. Thank you. In their case, it was the "My Pictures" folder that was mapped to a network drive and giving the same "Error 1324" that your log shows. They list a couple of workarounds for this kind of issue. 1) Map a drive to your "My Documents" folder and change the registry key to use that mapped drive. The key is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ User Shell Folders. Your "My Documents" folder should be listed in the "Personal" registry value. After that is done, the installer should be able to resolve the path. If you go this route, be sure to back up your

Please enter it again." while trying to do a first ever installation of Reader on a brand new HP Windows 7 Pro PC. The error seems to occur after download and during installation. Any ideas what I can do? The machine is part of a local area network in a school with a domain and a local server. In my case the 'Pictures' folder was redirected by a domain policy to an UNC path, while the parent folder was mapped to 'U:'. Therefore I changed the registry values to the same location using the drive letter (U:\Pictures). Apparently the installer doesn't work well with UNC paths. The problem seems to exist for a long time now (I just saw a post from someone dated 2010). On every update I saw the error but didn't want to fix it. Now I did, by myself and with the help of the mighty intern
