a mapped drive L: which works and all those programs work if I move Documents back to the default position, then install that software then move Docs back to L: The question is... WTF?! Why those program can work with the Doc folder on shared drive but cannot install if it is not moved back to C: drive? You can delete the User Shell folders from the registry. Then logoff and log back on. Make sure to export that reg key so you can import back in if problems.
