I had an external drive G: with Steam on it. The drive died. I tried to reinstall Steam on my local C: and got the following error message : Quote: Error 1327. Invalid Drive: G:\ I tried using this fix, it didn't work. I tried doing what this guy told, it didn't work. I tried rebooting, it didn't work. I tried renaming an USB drive as G:, the system didn't want to. I'm desperate, I don't really want to format my computer. Any suggestion ? EDIT : - Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Valve\Steam and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam in the regedit and it should work, problem solved for
