It is installed and running on 3 different pc's. They are running Win 7, https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/vsnetsetup/2010/01/12/installation-of-visual-foxpro-9-0-fails-error-1327-invalid-drive-mapped-drive-name/ SP 1, 64-bit. I tried to install the same onto my laptop, which is running Win 7, 64-bit. The install errors out and I get the following message: Error 1327. Invalid Drive: G:\ Any suggestions? Thanks! Usually, error 1327 is due to your user profile folders like you my documents, my pictures folder etc. redirecting to a network directory or drive. You want to make sure you are not redirecting this folders to network locations. You can go into your registry location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders to look at where your user profile folders are pointing to. I run into the same thing attempting to install the latest version using the full installer.H: is mapped to a user folder on the network. The My Documents folder is pointed to "H:\My Documents" and is ONLINE. The Adobe help page says the error occurs if the drive is unavailable but it is not, I have full access. It mentions setting permissions on the folder for "Everyone" but this is the most insecure thing I have ever heard. These are user's directories on a Windows server, we cannot just set permissions to Everyone. Please advise.Thanks. Re: Error 1327 Installing/Updating Reader dapphp Oct 13, 2010 9:16 AM (in response to shashi.kant) Hello,The drive is valid and being used so we cannot just change the shell folders in the registry, the user's documents folders are stored on a server and that is where the H: drive points to. It is valid and online so I do not understand the error or why the installer even needs to use the H: drive. Thanks Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3.
