Error 1334 Office 2013
by SRihan Branched from an earlier discussion. Receiving the error 1334 when applying the 10.1.3 update. swankydope Jul 11, 2012 3:54 PM I had the same error code when updating on multiple systems on our network. Most (except for 1) of the computers are windows 7 systems. We're using Acrobat X Standard and I was updating from 10.0.0 to error 1334 installshield 10.1.3. I ran the update on 30 systems and only had issues on 5 of them (1 windows xp). The other 25 system were running windows xp. I can not find any reliable information online on what this error means or how to fix it. I did try a suggestion from another site to try each incremental update from 10.0.1 through 10.1.3, but this failed as well. These machines are spread between 4 different offices and I am hoping there is a solution besides reloading the software from scratch (the disks and product keys stay with the computers). The specific error I receive says - "Error 1334. The file 'wcfirefoxextn.dll' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data1.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."I have redownloaded the install package a few times and still received the error. I have also attempted to use the update function within acrobat x. 3500Views Tags: none (add) This content has been m

Software Deployment Windows Installer (MSI) Windows Installer (MSI) Error Messages Dear all, I have followed the instructions for updating Acrobat 7 Standard using the correct volume updates from version 7 - http://www.itninja.com/question/acrobat-7-stan-install-error-1334 7.05 from the packages section. I have used MSIEXEC from the command line on Windows Server 2003 to patch the acrostan.msi. I was successful in updating the msi to version 7.05 without any errors. I have http://www.dllmost.com/windows-error/141725.html also created an mst file using Adobe's IStuner7 (which is a handy tool!). When deploying to an XP SP2 workstation using GPO I get the following error: Product: Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard -- Error 1334.The file error 1334 'AcroIF.dll' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file 'Data1.cab'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package. The msi appears to be looking in the wrong place as this file is in program files/adobe/acrobat 7/acrobat. This folder was added by the 705 msp updater to the parent folder. Any help would be great. Answers 0 I am getting the same error. I have also seen it fail on a ROMAN.txt_xxxxxxx file. Anyone figure this out yet? Answered 09/28/2006 by: schieb Please log in to comment Please log in to comment 0 I repatched mine and it worked. 1) copy Adobe CD over to a local drive 2) Run Tuner and make the required changes and generate a new .mst 3) Do an admin install msiexec /a acropro.msi TRANSFORMS=acropro.mst 4) Copy MST to admin install point 5) Copy patches Ac705PrP_efgj.msp, Acro707.msp, Acro708.msp to the admin install point 8) map to network install point then run the patches msiexec /a Z:\apps\Adobe7\AcroPro.msi /p Z:\apps\Adobe7\Ac705PrP_efgj.msp;Z:\apps\Adobe7\Acro707.msp;Z:\apps\Adobe7\Acro708.msp 9) Now you can install 7.0.8 with msiexec /i "\\server\apps\Adobe7\acropro.msi" TRANSFORMS="\\server\apps\Adobe7\acropro.mst" REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qb- Using full paths in step 8 was one of the tricks that I think threw me off. I get no missing data1.cab files errors now. Answered 09/28/2006 by: schieb Please log in to comment Please log in to comment 0 I'm had the same problem.
