new HP PC with Windows 7 that had Office 2010 already installed. One machine has the original factory install of OS and the other has a company image install with Windows 7. The Office 2010 Pro will install on our Gateway machines with no issues. Don't know why this was an issue this time, but it worked. But each time I get the error 1406 which stops the setup boot-strapper. I have tried amending registry, cleaning up old files, allowing registry full permission etc. as available on online forums. But nothing seems to be working.
