to ChrisJ4203 The 1403 error shows in iTunes, however the message that the download was corrupted appears on the device when I try to update the iphone OTA. This error displayed on all of my iOS devices when I tried to update them. I was able to update my other devices by taking them to another location and using a different network. I also reviewed that specific support document a few days ago and realized that the 1403 error code was not listed. In my research, I also noticed that a others have had experienced this error with previous ios releases as well as ios 8.0.2. If anyone has any idea how to fix this issue, I would very much appreciate the help. Once your device is in recovery mode, keep pressing your power button and home button together, your device will switch off.
