I'm running this on Windows, with node v0.10.33 PouchDB member marten-de-vries commented Dec 9, 2014 Can't reproduce on Ubuntu 14.10. I did error 15 file not found grub get an error when the 'databases' directory didn't exist, though (in the terminal). Did the directory exist while you where testing? Also, 'no_db_file' is a very weird error to get on /couch. The route handler that generates it never should be called in the first place. Maybe that helps for debugging. jacargentina commented Dec 9, 2014 @marten-de-vries The culprit is #136 Was getting my attention, when going to "localhost:3000/couch" that i got a message on the console with: VirtualHost rewrite to: /couch So... there was no rewrite at all!! I've "undo" those changes on my node_modules just to test if that was the problem, and then i get the : {"express-pouchdb":"Welcome!","version":"0.8.0"} just fine! PouchDB member marten-de-vries commented Dec 10, 2014 Ah, my express-pouchdb version wasn't up-to-date with latest git. Can reproduce now. Will look into it. UPDATE: So the problem is that I copied CouchDB's vhost feature, but that was never made with the situation in mind where CouchDB isn't mounted at /. You'd get similar problems when proxying couchdb using apache to do that. The easiest way around it seems to be to let it use urls relative to where expres
