Error 15 Turbo Pascal System.tpu
a Pentium system. I am currently in the final stages of a project involving several units of ADT's which I created as well as CRT and , as I understand, the system unit, used by all programs. Several days ago I ran the program without error, reassigned the Options| directories| units to the tp directory where my files and units are located, saved the info and turned the computer off. When I went back to it several days later, I received an ' Error 15: File not found (system.tpu) ' message. Upon looking at my tp/units directory I noticed that the I cannot find the system, dos,and crt units, however the 'int' files are in the tp/doc directory. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have happened here? What are these INT files? I appreciate any help. Thanks Brian. These units (and Overlay) are not provided as free-standing TPU files. Look in your program directory, and you should see a file called TURBO.TPL. You can view the contents of this file by using the included TPUMOVER.EXE program. This should all be explained somewhere in the manuals. As for why you'd be getting an error 15 for SYSTEM.TPU, I'm not certain. Perhaps your TURBO.TPL file got corrupted or deleted. If that's the case, pull out your install disks and reinstall. Quote:> Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have happened here? > What are these INT files? ..INT is short for "INTerface". They're just text files that have the interface portion for each of the units. I'd suggest you grab a decent text/binary file browser, and keep it on hand, or use a COMMAND.COM replacement like 4D

1 Reply with quote :: DOSBox & Turbo Pascal 7 :: by johnyjj2 » 2009-8-10 @ 12:22 Hello! I tried http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=22540 to compile code in Turbo Pascal with the use of DOSBox. I installed it, run, mounted "mount C C:\dosprog\". I copied files of my code (without any changes, it was oryginally created in Dos). They are copied to C:\dosprog\tp7\prog. I run in DOSBox command "c:\tp7\bin\turbo.exe", open file "c:\tp7\proj\trc.pas", compile it (Alt+F9), see the error "Error 15: File not error 15 found (CDF.TPU). I escape turbo.exe, type "cd ..\prog", type "dir cdf" and I see "CDF 0", "CDF PAS", "CDF PPU", "CDF TPU". There is only one line SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H5 T6 I found this http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/windows/do ... 52652.html and added the following lines set PATH=c:/tp7; set PATH=c:/tp7/bin;%PATH% set PATH=c:/tp7/prog;%PATH% The error occured "Can't write Z:\AUTOEXEC.BAT" so I don't know where to edit it. I don't see autoexec in C:\dosprog or C:\Program Files\DOSBox-0.73. Autoexec in C:\ doesn't contain anything so it is not DOSBox's autoexec but Windows' autoexec. So where to edit it? And are these three lines sufficient?
