Adobe Reader Error 1606 Could Not Access Network Location
Fails (Paolo_Ricardo) Feb 19, 2008 6:01 PM I keep getting the dreaded "Error 1606 Could not access network location :." (sic)when I try to upgrade Acrobat Reader I've tried all the fixes i.e. deleting registry refs to Office 8.0 and 9.0, checking User Shell Folders and Common Administrative Tools (as recommended by Microsoft) but none works. Also I've no error 1606 windows 7 idea what location ":." refers to. Apart from disabling Windows Installer (to stop it popping up randomly) I cannot update my Adobe Reader software. Any miracle workers out there? Thanks 29684Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 17 replies 1.
