Autodesk\AutoCAD 2008\R17.1\enu\ Causes: You may have received this error message because the Windows registry keys that point to the current user's profile are not configured correctly. Solution: Runregedit.exe to launch the Registry Editor. Browse to the following location in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders Look for the Common Documents subkey and verify that the data valueis a folder that actually exists. If the folder shown doesn’t exist, either create that folder on your system or edit the registry key to point to a folder that does exist. If the Common Documents value is correct, verify that the other subkeys that reference \Users\ folders are also correct. If the registry values correctly point to existing folders and you still cannot complete the installation,try running the Microsoft Fixit tool to automat
