The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all 4 to resolve the issue. Solution 1: Install QuickBooks Desktop using the Admin user account Restart your computer. Solution 2: Install QuickBooks Desktop in selective startup mode Restart your computer in Selective Startup mode. Try to install QuickBooks again. Select Family & other people and choose Add someone else to this PC. Enter a username and password and click Next Windows 10 Enterprise edition From the Start menu, choose Settings and click Accounts. Select Other people and click Add someone else to this PC. At the bottom of the page, select I don’t have this person’s sign-in information and click Add a user without a Microsoft account. Enter a username, password and password hint.
