I just started loading all my software and installed MS Office 2003, and several other programs, only to be met with error(s) 1606, 1703, etc, all relating to the windows installer. It says there is a problem with the file. I called Dell, and they walked me through the "repair" of XP Home using the included disk. Windows claimed repairs were successful (though didn't say to what). I reinstalled Office 2003, and have exactly the same error. Dell says my only recourse is to "wipe the disk" and reinstall XP Home again. My c
