Windows 7: Error 1719 23 Dec 2010 #1 barryjt Windows 7 Home Premium 4 posts Error 1719 http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/89982-error-1719-when-running-ms-office-application-in-isolation/ I have a Dell Inspiron Desktop PC 11 months old with Win 7 Home Premium. I currently have M.S. Office 2007 installed. I have purchased Office 2010 but have been unable to install it. I insert the disc and error 1719 installation starts, as expected but about halfway through, it stops and I get "Error Message 1719 Windows Installed could not be accessed". When I then tried to use Outlook in my Office 2007, it tried to reinstall Outlook and then said "there is no email client". I had to use system restore to get back to where I was - the restore point said "Installed Office 2010" but it hadn't! I then found I had other "peculiar" problems error 1719 windows with Office 2007 so I tried to reinstall it but got the same 1719 error message. Eventually after several mre sytem restores, I am able to use Office 2007 again. Can anyone help with the installation of Office 2010? Microsoft refer me to Dell as my Win 7 was pre-installed and Dell don't want to know unless I purchase a software warranty for £129. Simple instructions please as I'm no expert. Error 1719 when running MS Office application in isolation Started by Administrator , 24 May 2007 - 03:58 AM Login to Reply 5 replies to this topic Administrator Administrators #1 Administrator 2 posts Posted 24 May 2007 - 03:58 AM CPS V4.5 with MS Office Pro 2003 (Complete) installed on server, and created Word & Excel as published apps.OK when not in an isolation environment, but when added to an isolation environment then I get "Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service......." when I try to run the app. The isolation environment has relaxed security and default rules. 1367-89982-605728 Back to top Administrator Administrators #2 Administrator 2 posts Posted 24 May 2007 - 04:28 AM OK if you install MS Office Pro 2003 directly in to the AIE then everything is OK. But what now about my other application which references Excel files and just prompts for which program to start (i.e. because Office is now not installed on the server in its own right). Suppose I now have to install Office on the server as normal. 1367-89982-605730 Back to top Administrator Administrators #3 Administrator 2 posts Posted 24 May 2007 - 04:29 AM Sorry but following on. Which Excel will my application start when opening a file in it which is an Excel file. Will it start the Excel that exists in the AIE or will it start the Excel that is installed l
