How do I resolve the "Error 1722" problem? This problem relates to the MSI installer from Microsoft; it is associated error 1722 the rpc server is unavailable with either an outdated or corrupt Windows Installer or with permission for Windows Script Hosting (WSH). First of all, download the latest version of Ad-Aware from the Support Center or https://secure.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php and try to reinstall. I am using Windows Server 2003 SP R2 and the program will not install also. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do or a workaround for this issue? I am also using an Admin account to install the program. My system has 1 GB RAM and at least 65 GB of free HD space available Thanks Back to top #3 LS Tobias LS Tobias Advanced Member Members 702 posts Posted 09 June 2007 - 09:35 AM It seems like the crash appears when the installer is trying to uninstall previous versions of the program (i.e. Ad-Aware SE). Try uninstalling Ad-Aware SE manualy and then run the Ad-Aware 2007 installer

Program says it's ready to install and error 1722 then. It pops up with a FATAL ERROR: "Installation Ended Prematurely Because Of An Error." Only an OK button is available and when you click..... its all over. I suspect a problem with the installer but that's only a guess. Anyone else see this problem? Any suggestions? Help!!
