SQL Server Administration Maintenance plan backup failure Reply to Topic Printer Friendly Author Topic johncurl Starting Member United Kingdom 3 Posts Posted-01/20/2010: 02:41:52 We have in place 4 maintenance plans (MP) 2 databse backups,transaction log backup and a weekly compression all work according to settings except one MP database backup failing daily.Manually error 18210 severity 16 state 1 sql server 2008 backed up works ok. See errors below. To ensure that thebackups for the database are taken properly, I recommend you backup tothe local drive and then create a NT job to move the job to the shareupon completion of the SQL Backup.
