Sql Server Error 18456 Severity 14 State 38
in the Reporting forum, if it needs to be elsewhere please let me know. I have three servers, two Management servers and one SQL server. All servers error 18456 severity 14 state 38 login failed are in the same subnet and the firewall is turned off on all three. I have created the SPNs for both Management servers and the account I created for the System Center Configuration service and System Center Data Access service account is a local admin on all three servers. All three servers are running Windows Server error 18456 severity 14 state 11 2012 and are patched, and my SQL Server is SQL 2012 Standard. Operations Manager is at SP1. I have created the SPN for both Management servers. I followed the TechNet guide for distributed installations (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh298610.aspx) The issue I am having occurred when I attempted to run the Configuration Changes report on a selected host. When I went to the Reporting Workspace I noted that I didn't appear to have all the Reports available to me. I checked and all the Reporting MP's are installed, but I'm only seeing a handful, and those handful don't work. When I browse to the reporting instance on the SQL server I am presented with just the .net application reports. When I go to Discovered Inventory and change the Target Type to Data Warehouse Synchronization Server I see that it's in a critical state, and has the following error logged in the Health Explorer. < DataItem type =" System.XmlData " time =" 2013-07-19T12:02:31.8441084-05:00 " sourceHealthServiceId =" 1E11D61E-9B8D-0933-C4A1-714D71600689 " > <
