Mon, 12/02/2013 - 12:48 Hello, I want to use the Trust Region solver of MKL in Abaqus user subroutine. I have a problem in using dtrnlsp_solve. As a test, I took an example from the manual (Example 14-1. dtrnlsp Usage in Fortran). It works well if I run this example as a separate project in Miscrosoft Visual Studio with MKL. However, when I call this example from the Abaqus user subroutine (in a module of user element subroutine) then I have a "unexpected error 193" or Abaqus "system error". I see that initialization goes smoothly (dtrnlsp_init is called) but the program fails in calling Trust Region solver (dtrnlsp_solve). Can you, please, give me some idea how to solve this problem? Thanks. I use Intel Composer XE 2011, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and the Abaqus's versions 6.10-2 and 6.12. I included 'mkl_rci.fi' in the code statement. The reason was a mistaken usage of integer(4) type instead of integer(8) for one of the MKL-routine variable. Now the subroutine works well. Im writing a UMAT to implement the fung elastic model into abaqus. The equation is U=c/2(e^^Q -1) and Q is int terms of the material coefficients of the strain components Eij. Im using the UANISOHYPER Strain in abaqus, and what i need to define is U - the strain energy density function, UA(1)- Derivatives of strain energy potential with respect to the components of the modified Green strain tensor, UA(2)-2nd Derivatives of strain energy potential with respect to the components of the modified Green strain tensor.Im modelling an incompressible soft tissue so the third derivative and the derivatives with respect to J ( volume ratio) are ignored.I'm running a very simple job, 1 element, fixed at one end and being pulled at the opposite end. The umat compiles properly but i get an unexpected error 193 running the job. I have attached the UMAT if anyone has any experience writing something similar. Any help guys would be greatly appreciated. SUBROUTINE UANISOH

However, whenever I http://www.aptech.com/questions/getting-loadlibrary-error-193-when-i-try-to-load-a-dll-with-dlibrary/ try to load it I get LoadLibrary Error 193. What does this mean? How can I fix this? 1 Answer 0 LoadLibrary error 193 usually occurs when you are trying to load a 32-bit dll into a 64-bit application. See below: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/csharpgeneral/thread/93dddc95-8f9c-4743-a87e-7557ea86f999/ If your dll is 32-bit and you are using 64-bit GAUSS you will likely get this error. linkadmin32 Your Answer asked August 30, 2012 link admin32 1 error 193 Answer 0 LoadLibrary error 193 usually occurs when you are trying to load a 32-bit dll into a 64-bit application.
