After I install Netbeans, I can run a short script and everything is fine. If I add a file to the program, Netbeans breaks and becomes unusable. My Cygwin is set up correctly with all the appropriate plugins (as far as I know). Also, my libraries are not being loaded correctly. "Cannot find include file " or any other one. Kevin Robbins Bartender Posts: 1801 28 I like... posted 1 year ago I posted this in the NetBeans forums, but didn't get a response, so maybe someone here can help. I've used NetBeans for several years for Java development and now I want to learn C and C++. I'm trying to follow the setup instructions from here: https://netbeans.org/community/releases/80/cpp-setup-instructions.html It seemed to go well until I got to the verify step and tried to compile the sample welcome project. I can run "make --version" and "g++ --version" from the command line and that works okay, so the path is correct, but when I try to compile the welcome project I get this: cd 'C:\nbprojects\Welcome_1' C:\minGW\msys\1.0\bin\make.exe -f Makefile CONF=Debug "/C/minGW/msys/1.0/bin/make.exe" -f nbproject/Makefile-Debug.mk QMAKE= SUBPROJECTS= .build-conf make.exe[1]: Entering directory `/c/nbprojects/Welcome_1' "/C/minGW/msys/1.0/bin/make.exe" -f nbproject/Makefile-Debug.mk dist/Debug/MinGW-Windows/welcome_1.exe make.exe[2]: Entering directory `/c/nbprojects/Welcome_1' mkdir -p build/Debug/MinGW-Windows make.exe[2]: mkdir: Command not found make.exe[2]: *** [build/Debug/MinGW-Windows/welcome.o] Error 127 make.exe[2]: Leaving directory `/c/nbprojects/Welcome_1' make.exe[1]: *** [.build-conf] Error 2 make.exe[1]: Leaving directory `/c/nbprojects/Welcome_1' make.exe": *** [.build-impl] Error 2 BUILD FAILED (exit value 2, total time: 971ms) I don't understand why it's reporting "command not found" on mkdir. Can anyone tell what's wrong? If it matters, this is NetBeans 8 on
