You don't need TU to recognise it at that point, but you'll need the TSS server running to redirect the signing to your local 4.3.3 shsh's, if you get any 10xx itunes errors then use the stand alone fixrecovery43 link answered 13 Aug '11, 13:18 venusanann 13.3k●11●6●18 1 dont worry about that, as long as they are there and you have the tss server running you are ok, but you should do things in a specific order -closed itunes, started the TSS server, put the phone into DFU -open itunes and shift restore to your downloaded 4.3.3 ipsw link answered 13 Aug '11, 15:14 therealcmac 590●22●12●32 edited 13 Aug '11, 15:15 1 OK problem solved on this one, i think the issue was 4 different entries in the hosts files for local machine and itunes not-auto checking for updates, something for us all to check when folks have problems. link answered 13 Aug '11, 17:44 therealcmac 590●22●12●32 edited 13 Aug '11, 17:56 0 Thanks... the instructions in that wiki (http://jailbreakqa.com/questions/32462/faq?page=1#51444) didnt mention putting the phone in DFU mode.
