this screws up your phone, it's not my fault. This is unsupported and you may have to go to the Apple Store anyway. Perform this procedure at your own risk. Connect the iPhone to your computer and have iTunes open. error 2005 iphone 6 plus Press and hold both the sleep/wake and the Home button until the screen goes black. Release the sleep/wake button but continue holding the Home button for about 20 seconds. After about 20 seconds, you should see your iPhone pop up in iTunes in recovery mode, asking for a restore. Your iPhone LCD should remain black. This is firmware reset mode. Restore it from iTunes normally. "From my experience, it does take a couple of tries to get it into itunes error 2005 iphone 6 ‘firmware reset' mode. I stress when the iPhone initially pops up in iTunes, the phone will still have a black screen. Only after you start the restore will the iPhone display anything in the LCD." And another note about the declining quality and standards for the "Geniuses": As a former (Mac) Genius (worked 2007-09) […] I can attest that most Geniuses including myself did not know jack about computers and the quality has gone way down. They key factor is cost. Geniuses were paid $50-65k back in the day […]. Now an average Genius gets paid about $30-35k. Yes there are certifications, and all geniuses are certified Apple technicians. However, the certifications have been Fisher Priced very much down. For example, to certify today, a Genius is not expected to be able to use or even open Terminal and run commands. […] Remember a Genius is a retail employee, and believe me from first-hand experience, I was treated like one. It's not a huge surprise that Apple's retail stores have gone through the same shift as every other retail chain: first hiring knowledgeable staff and correspondingly providing great service, then slowly cutting costs (matching common practices by other retailers) by reducing salaries and hiring standards until the salespeople are much lower-skilled and provide mediocre service at best. It's just sad that even Apple succumbed to it. Anyway, thanks to this anonymous ex-Genius, I'll probably save

Thanks 8) kgbrown247, Feb 9, 2011 #1 jurgencachia Guest HI I'm using android client on PPTP vpn and it works fine,I suggest to check your networks settings as problem appears to be a misconfiguration issue. Regards, jurgencachia, Feb 25, 2011 #2 zippo Messages: 492 This is error 2005 iphone more likely a network problem. I would first test without the need on the VPN, so that I ensure that the setting are correctly set. Then once I get this to work I would try the VPN. What type of connection are you using? RDP or 2X Farm? With RDP you need to have port 3389 available unless the server default port was changed. With 2X farm the easiest to configure is gateway mode where port 80 or 443 need to be available depending if you are connecting over ssl or not. zippo, Mar 19, 2011 #3 Rocky Guest Re: Error Code [1a/00000001] 2x Connection could not be foun i have tried the 3389 port and got no where and then I tried the 80 and the 443 ports and it looked like it was none stop trying to open multi windows over and over again. had to turn off the phone to get it to stop. any suggestions Rocky, Jul 23, 2011 #4 kirilgeo Guest Re: Error Code [1a/00000001] 2x Connection could not be foun Dear guys, I'm facing similar error! Figure 16. Install error Cause: With the launch of iOS 7.1, Apple requires the enterprise apps manifest file (.plist) to be served over HTTPS. Attempts to install through HTTP cause the above message. Analysis: Actually only the .plist file needs to be served by HTTPS, the .ipa file does not. Therefore, you do not need to modify the .plist file, but only need to modify the OTA link to point to the HTTPS link of the .plist file, for example, itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=https://app.xxx.com/AWS/6.8.0110.00.plist. In downloadaws_template.html, the OTA link actually displays as 'itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=' + ios_mobile_url, where you need to modify the value of "ios_mobile_url" to like this: https://app.xxx.com/AWS/6.8.0110.00.plist. With this change, iOS 7.1 will allow you to download and install Appeon Workspace. In fact, iOS 7.1, iOS 7 and iOS 6.x all support the OTA link over HTTPS, which means if you make this change, it will work for all iOS devices. Solution A: Step 1: Configure to allow the .plist file to be accessed by HTTPS. There are two ways to do this: Install the SSL certificate on the Web site, and then add an HTTPS port to the Web site that hosts Appeon Workspace. The HTTPS URL of .plist will change to https://app.xxx.com/AWS/6.8.0110.00.plist. Note: The default HTTPS port is 443. Therefore, the following two URLs work the same: https://app.xxx.com/AWS/6.8.0110.00.plist https://app.xxx.com:443/AWS/6.8.0110.00.plist It is also important to aware that you cannot use a self-signed certificate to bindings HTTPS port unless the device trusts the CA it came from. You either need to use a "real" SSL certificate or you need to import and trust the certificate on any devices that will install the app. Figure 17. Configure HTTPS port If you do not want to apply for an SSL certificate, or create the HTTPS port in the Web site, you can work around this by taking advantage of DropBox to host the .plist file. Detail steps are below. Upload your .plist file to DropBox. Suppose the file name is 6.8.0110.00.plist. Get shared link of your .plist file, such as https://www.dropbox.com/s/0oef1fmmjsuj5hf/6.8.0110.00.plist. Replace www.dropbox.com with dl.dropboxusercontent.com in the shared link. S
