Re: [Error #2007] Parameter blendmode must be not null Rothrock Sep 25, 2009 7:31 AM (in response to Perfect_Nemus) Well for some reason it thinks the BlendMode.NORMAL is null. Have you tried importing that class? Just add this line to the top of the script you are working on:import flash.display.BlendMode;Doesn't seem like you should need to import that. The BlendMode class is just class of static variables that refer to the actual possible values for blendMode. So you could also try:nestedMC.blendMode = "normal"Other than that I would think there is some code somewhere else that is doing something. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. Re: [Error #2007] Parameter blendmode must be not null Perfect_Nemus Sep 25, 2009 10:06 AM (in response to Rothrock) if i do trace(BlendMode.NORMAL) it gives to me "normal", so it isn't null...I'm trying everything with no result.. Even class importing doesn't help Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 4. in turn had consulted this post for guidance. Hmm, even the post by The Agile Tdog refers to another post by Agile UI and this still points to a use case where there is a mismatch between the Flex 3 SDK version you are developing (your project) on and an/some external Flex lib which may have been compiled with a newer or older Flex 3 SDK version. But that is not my https://forums.adobe.com/thread/496914 case -- I get this error purely due to my (mis-)use of components in the Flex framework. Short answer: simply set the blendMode attribute to a valid value on the component that caused the error a la: blendMode="{BlendMode.NORMAL}" Synopsis I was trying to implement reordering of the elements of a control http://blog.ejeboo.com/2010/01/error-2007-parameter-blendmode-must-be.html via drag and drop within the same control.
