are facing this issue in our URL while accessing the Result from the server on the Flex Application on a WAS Machine. The behavior is a bit varied when we access it on IE6 and IE7(both IEs are having same flash Player version). IE6 doesn’t work at all but IE7 works for some conditions. On Windows machine it is working fine(in IE6 and IE7). Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false error 2032 flex 3 eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032: Stream Error. Fix AS3-Flex Error #2032 Stream Error By Michael Dobekidis | May 3, 2014 - 10:41 | May 5, 2014 actionscript, adobe air, flex, flex 4, workaround Recently I encountered an error #2032 within a two year project in flex error 2032 https Flex, for three days I struggled with it and tried almost everything, this is flex error 2044 why I'm posting this here so that it might save someone else time. This error occurred when I tried to do an error 2032 mac HTTPService call to the Back-End and send some really heavy file. The file would require Back-End parsing and when that was over it would return a result. However mid-way the POST call would be interupted and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3873564/error-2032-stream-error I was presented with a #2032 Stream Error fault. The solution was both simple and extremely hidden and in my opinion stupid. In the HTTPService I had set the property: this.requestTimeout = 3800; However as shown in this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8820715/flex-httpservice-times-out-anyway This property is NOT taken into consideration by the HTTPService. It needs: import flash.net.URLRequestDefaults; URLRequestDefaults.idleTimeout = 1200000; // or any amount of time in ms This way we override the default timeout http://nightlycoding.com/index.php/2014/05/tip-as3-flex-error-2032-stream-error/ of EVERY call and thus the request no longer fails… I truly hope this helps someone as the above post helped me. I'm having the same problem, but it looks like flash.net.URLRequestDefaults is for AIR projects only. In fact, the flash.net package I have in a .swc does not even have the URLRequestDefaults class. I'm wondering if there's a non-AIR workaround. Michael Dobekidis says: July 31, 2014 at 19:22 No this was an Air project. This error is quite common and can occur for a number of reasons. You can find many solutions on the net, I just documented one that wasn't anywhere else. From my experience I would say that this type of error is mostly related to the termination of a connection between a client and a server, the reason however will probably vary. Jina says: September 30, 2014 at 14:56 Miachael, I have both air and flash client and I am having same issue in air client. Do I need to set URLRequestDefaults

I have tested the website on several different machines in my office and have had another couple try from other buildings. None of them come up with the error message and the site works correctly. Everyone is accessing the site via Adams County, City of Hastings, & Hastings Utilities. Which is an external URL and not inside any networks that I have been testing it on. So with that I'm convinced that it has to be setting somewhere with that person's computer and not an issue with the website itself. She said she tried it on her husband's computer it didn't work either. She is running Windows 7 and using IE11 and tried it in Firefox. The computers I have tested is the same specs. I have had her reinstall Flash Player and clear her browser cache. With all the research I can't find any reason of why it is working everywhere else but not in this particular location. I am attaching a screenshot of the error she is getting. rscheitlin Nov 5, 2014 12:52 PMCorrect AnswerMegan, Have you added the mime type to your web server? In IIS 7 just go to MIME Types for the servers features in IIS and right click, and choose add, for the file name extension type ".swz" and for the MIME Type add application/x-swzSee the reply in contextAttachmentsScreen Capture.jpg107.0 KBNo one else had this questionMark as assumed answeredOutcomesVisibility: ArcGIS API for Flex3369 ViewsLast modified on Nov 5, 2014 9:02 AMTags:flexContent
